Dragon Yoga Club

Our yoga club is coordinated by the School Director of Dragon American School, Barbara Serrano. She is a Vinyasa, Power Yoga, Kids Yoga teacher and is training as a Mindfulness facilitator for children and teenagers. But we also have external teachers trained in different styles.

Yoga complements the sports offer of the center, both integrated into the academic offer during school hours, and also extracurricular classes for all audiences.

Yoga and Mindfulness are a tool that can help adults and children to develop greater attention, inward and outward. That attention to one’s sensations and that concentration on postures and breathing, in addition to the obvious physical benefits (strength, flexibility, posture correction), provides mental and psychological benefits.

Yoga can help reduce anxiety, fear, insomnia and stress and, also, it can collaborate in increasing concentration, attention and also equanimity and moderation.

We consider Yoga as a great complement to the academic and sports offer, and our students enjoy it very much.

Our Yoga Studio is offered for rent to external teachers who want to teach classes.*
